Who we are and what we breed

Golden Eve Puppies is a private in-home dog breeding business dedicated to providing loving, healthy, working, and/or pet companions for individuals in need and/or families desiring to add a furry family member. My kids and I love what we do and we love the Golden Retriever breed because of their gentle, loving nature and intelligence. They are hands down top of the list of family dogs to trust with other pets and children. Our puppy's parents have been genetically health tested and have excellent temperaments. Our passion lies in breeding the beautiful red line of American Golden Retrievers. With our dedication to responsible breeding practices, we do not believe proper socialization can be acquired in an outside kennel setting and therefore we keep our beloved dogs inside our home and raise our litters inside our home as well. Our puppies are raised in a nurturing environment, ensuring they are properly socialized with every need attended to day and night so they are ready to become cherished members of your family.

Our Goldendoodle line was developed for people who love/want a Golden Retriever but have allergies and (who are shedding dogs) but still need a working  (service, therapy, or emotional support) and/or pet companions with the well-established amazing Golden temperament. To get Goldendoodles we use genetically tested AKC Poodles that we personally know (because they belong to my dear of over 20 years) so we can confirm excellent temperaments. We can potentially make all sizes (Standard, Medium, Miniature, and Petite) of Goldendoodles depending on the parents chosen. It is a win/win situation having the ability to produce great dogs that are also less shedding, and less likely to cause allergic reactions. This being said, if you have allergies, you must come in person to pick your puppy and hold it for 10 minutes to ensure you do not have a reaction for the best interest of you and the puppy.

Where we are & when you can visit

We are located just a few miles west of Waynesville, Missouri off of Interstate 44 at Exit 150.

Visitation is available by appointment only, but only after pups are health-checked and vaccinated at 6 weeks of age.

Visitation of puppies will be made available on the front porch and upon request, parents will be made visible behind/through the fence. This is due to homeowner's insurance requirements being more costly with a greater liability to allow people inside my home or allow them to interact with my adult dogs. Furthermore, it is in the best interest of the puppy's undeveloped immune system that we limit outside invisible contamination in the dogs and puppy's living quarters (our home). We personally take our shoes off at the front door when we get home and switch to our "house shoes" in order to not track in deadly parvo to the puppies which is very prevalent in our state. We ask that you use careful consideration when coming to visit the puppies as well.

Hours of Visitation Appointments

Sun-Fri: 11 am - sunset CST

Saturday: CLOSED in observation of 7th Day Sabbath

What we offer and how you proceed from here

All of our puppies have a full physical health check by our licensed Veterinarian, (who is a breeder himself of English Bulldogs, a reproduction specialist, and has been in practice for over 25 years) prior to becoming available to be picked from between 5 to 6 weeks (once full set of teeth have arrived).

This helps us ensure we are only offering a healthy puppy for you to pick from and gives us an opportunity to correct things such as umbilical hernias if the mom pulled a little too hard at birth. They will be up to date on core puppy vaccinations and wormings. There is a one-year health guarantee along with a purchase agreement that is on the menu tab of this page for you to review and agree to prior to placing any deposit to secure a specific puppy. I also include 7 days of transition puppy food as well as a Mom/litter-scented blanket for an easier adjustment at bedtime in their new home.

I am willing to transport within the United States if it is absolutely necessary, but if I can avoid using a third party by meeting you, I will, if within my ability to do so. I truly do not like to put the puppies in the care of anyone else and want to hand them to the new family myself. Even saying that, sometimes they are too far away and if I'm still with  young ones at home, I cannot leave for very long. In those situations, I can recommend options to choose from based on previous success with certain transporters.
